What next?
After completion of a successful unit, Kylie was ready to move on to another theme and didn't plan, at that stage, to work on a similar project with other classes. She preferred to find a new context for each senior class – working on a solution to a perceived need.
After viewing the completed wharenui panels the school librarians approached Kylie and suggested her class make something for the library. The following year, year 13 fashion students created permanent fabric sculptures as hanging installations there.
