Discussion questions
These could include:
- What are the physical attributes of the hoe and other paddles? (for example, size, shape, colour, texture, smell)
- What are the functional (what it does) attributes of the hoe and other paddles?
- Who might use a hoe and other paddles? What is the purpose of the different paddles?
- What is the relationship between the physical and functional nature of the hoe and other paddles?
- What can you see around you that is and is not a technological product? (for example, the sky is not designed by a technologist for a purpose, it is part of the natural world)
