Dr Leonie Jones (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairarapa) has developed a nitrate sensor that detects and measures nitrate in rivers and delivers the results wirelessly to a cloud-based platform where you can see the results in real-time. Dr Jones would like to see water testing every day, every hour, and every kilometre across a catchment.
