Reclaimed Glasses And Lunch Trays Give These Chairs Their Ethereal Glow

Artist and furniture maker Kim Markel wanted to make objects as responsibly as possible – using material that already exists as much as she could.
She uses plastic from recycled bottles and, for heavier items like chairs and tables that need to be structurally sound, she uses a mixture of plastic from eye glasses and plastic lunch trays that have outlived their function.
