Craige and Roz Mackenzie are the winners of the 2013 Farm Environment Awards. They practice precision farming using cutting edge technology, including soil mapping and variable irrigation. They describe precision farming as “five R's . . . It's about the right input being used in the right amount – and being put in the right place, at the right time, and in the right manner.”
