Implications for Teaching and Learning Project

This section contains a series of papers commissioned by the Ministry of Education to support effective teaching of the two new strands of the curriculum (Knowledge and Nature) and the development of technological literacy. One output of the Implications (Imps) project was the development and refining of the progression diagrams.

Curriculum Support documents

The Ministry of Education developed this package of documents and papers to support schools and teachers with the implementation of the technology curriculum in The New Zealand Curriculum (2007). It was originally published in 2007 and subsequently updated in 2009 and 2010. 

Technology specialist knowledge and skills

These documents consist of knowledge and skills progressions provided by teacher, industry, and tertiary participants and support materials written by Niall Dinning and Dr Vicki Compton.
